This year marks the 38th anniversary of the “999 for Kids” Program. Through Department efforts, this program has played a significant role in the lives of thousands of children throughout Los Angeles County.  The program provides a beam of hope for children who have endured unimaginable hardships.

On December 3, 2023, the Special Victims Bureau (SVB) celebrated the 37th annual Christmas Wonderland event at STARS Center.  The “999 for Kids” program is a partnership between the Special Victims Bureau, the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and the community to provide financial support to children who are victims of child abuse and neglect.
